4. Technology assessment

The assessment converts tasks and barriers into capabilities: accessible display and input, sufficient compute for representative development and media workloads, dependable storage and backup, portable project state, and compatible collaboration tools.

Minimum, preferred, and alternative configurations are evaluated separately. Models and prices are not embedded here because they change; current candidates belong in dated source and quote records.
